The Eastern Frontier Arctic Expedition is an unforgettable experience. You will sleep outdoors under the stars and, where possible, in wilderness huts. You will walk on unbroken snow in snowshoes or glide across it on skis. The deep dark of winter and the quiet wilderness create a truly magical setting that charms even the most experienced outdoor enthusiasts. Our experienced local guides are specialists in arctic conditions, and will take you on an unforgettable journey into the land they call home. During the expedition, you can also go ice fishing and cook your catch on open fire.
The Expedition is for everyone who everyone who is interested in spending time outdoors in winter, and in learning more or improving their skills during a guided expedition. During this one-week expedition, you will learn or revise the most important bushcraft skills required on a winter expedition under the guidance of professional and clear instructors. You will learn about the cycles of Nordic nature, and the local plants and animals. The course teaches you the skills you need to trek outdoors independently and develop your skills on your own
The last night of the course will be in a cabin or hotel, so that you are well rested after for your way home.

If you don't have the right equipment, you can rent it from us, except for clothing. Think of sleeping bag, backpack, hammock, tarp or sleeping mat. If you want to rent equipment you can indicate this in the booking form which you will receive after booking this trip. We will then contact you.
After registration you will receive a packing list with the necessary equipment and additional information about the trip and the flight(s) and/or train(s) to be booked.
