The LifeSaver Wayfarer is a pocket-sized water purifier that can purify up to 5,000 litres of clean, safe drinking water.

The LifeSaver Wayfarer is a microbiological water filter that uses ultra-filtration technology to filter out viruses, bacteria, cysts and parasites from contaminated water sources. LifeSaver technology filters out bacteria to a minimum of Log 6 (99.9999%), viruses to a minimum of Log 5 (99.999%) and cysts to a minimum of Log 4 (99.99%) as specified by NSF Protocol 231, based on US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommendations.

THE LIFESAVER WAYFARER IS A 2-STAGE WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM:

1st TRAP

Stage One is the replaceable ultra-filtration element that can purify up to about 5,000 litres of water from bacteria, protozoa, micro-plastics as well as viruses. Thanks to the FailSafe function, the filter stops automatically once it has reached its service life. Afterwards, the filter element is very easy to replace.

2nd STAGE

Stage two is filtration with the replaceable activated-charcoal filter, which reduces pesticides, chemicals and organic substances in the water and improves the smell and taste of the water.
