Join us on an adventure in beautiful Sweden! Enchanting Tiveden: Natural Beauty Discover Sweden's overwhelming wilderness on an unforgettable journey, made possible by the combined forces of Hiking Viking and Rewilder. In the autumn of 2026, we invite you to join us on an adventure to the land of 100,000 lakes, vast rivers, lush forests, enchanting moors and mystical marshes. Step into unspoilt nature and immerse yourself in Sweden's beautiful flora and fauna! Experience the vastness of the landscape and let yourself be embraced by the overwhelming tranquillity that this enchanting country has to offer. Prepare yourself for a journey full of discoveries and enjoy the treasures that Swedish nature has to offer.

Our journey begins in Tiveden, located in the province of Örebro in central Sweden, close to Tiveden National Park, Lake Vättern and the vast Lake Vänern, the largest lake in the EU!

What's on the programme?

✔️ Learning outdoor skills such as making a fire, navigating with a map and compass, and setting up camp safely
✔️ Searching for all kinds of beautiful animals such as beavers, bats, birds, reptiles, amphibians and, of course, the king of the forest, the moose!
✔️ Searching for edible plants and mushrooms
✔️ Learning the difference between simply “looking” and really “seeing” in nature.
✔️ An exciting two-day canoe trip across no fewer than seven lakes! We will spend the night at a location in the middle of nature.
✔️ A three-day hike in and around the beautiful Tiveden National Park. During the hike, you will carry your own equipment in your rucksack. We will use materials collected during the day to build a campfire so we can cook. Enjoy the afterglow by the fire and then sleep soundly in your tent. Or maybe you would prefer to sleep under a tarp or in a hammock.

When are we going?

• We will welcome you in Tiveden, our starting point, on Saturday 12 September 2026.
• The activities will start on Sunday 13 September after breakfast.
• The last day of activities will be on Friday 18 September, when we will end with a delicious barbecue and a cosy campfire.
• On Saturday 19 September 2026, we will say goodbye and depart from Camping Tiveden.

• Transport to and from the campsite, so you will need to make your own way there
• Travel insurance
• Cancellation insurance
• Camping equipment (Don't have your own tent, sleeping mat or sleeping bag? No problem, you can hire these from us)

• The maximum number of participants is 10
• The minimum age is 18 years old!

Additional information

• It is important that you are able to walk well. We often go into nature on foot on narrow paths, unpaved terrain and here and there the terrain goes up and down.
• Alcohol and drugs are not allowed during the trip. On the last evening, we will provide a drink with dinner.
